Advanced Nutrients Coco Coir 50%, Perlite 30%, Clay Pebbles 20%

Advanced Nutrients Coco Mix is a carefully selected blend of 50% coco coir, 30% perlite, and 20% clay pebbles. This gives it a balance of properties that's weighted towards drainage and aeration, making it a great choice for use with automated grow systems.

Key Features:

  • Enhanced drainage and aeration: 50% coco30% perlite and 20% clay pebbles
  • Comes into its own in active hydroponic grow systems
  • RHP-certified quality: ensures a clean, consistent, and high-performing growing medium
  • Sustainably sourced: made from renewable coconut husks, expanded volcanic glass and clay
  • Ready-to-use: pre-washed and buffered to maintain low EC levels and stable pH, eliminating the need for additional preparation
  • 50 litre bag

Coco Mix is ideal for use with hydroponic grow systems, like IWS Trident Flood & Drain Systemsdripper systems or even bottom-fed systems like the Autopot and EasyFeed.

Coco Mix also delivers great results when hand-watering in containers. It will, however, need watering more often than regular coco, so don't let your plants dry out! If you do decide to hand-water, consider going up a pot size to account for this.

Why Choose Added Perlite and Clay Pebbles?

The addition of 30% perlite enhances aeration and ensures that excess water drains efficiently, reducing the risk of overwatering and promoting healthier root oxygenation. Meanwhile, the inclusion of 20% clay pebbles provides additional structural support, preventing compaction of the growing medium and further improving drainage. The pebbles also create pockets of air within the root zone, fostering a well-ventilated environment ideal for vigorous root development.
